STRATEGIC MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
STRATEGIC MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
OWNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
I am—literally and figuratively—a woman of many hats. But the most FASCINATING one of all is the one I get to wear when working with a client on a strong, purpose-driven message: one that I can pair with powerful design and branding. For me, there is no greater joy than helping them make that salient connection with their target audience.
Marketing acumen, design originality, unmatched work ethic and an unwavering determination to please clients—that’s the success formula of my award-winning reputation.
Working simultaneously as a graphic designer at Forbes and Gannett, I attended Mason Gross School of Art at Rutgers University which prepared me well for my exciting career as a Creative. It was the best of both worlds: total immersion.
After a proven record of excellence in the NY/NJ marketplace, I decided to take a leap of faith to explore other creative opportunities. As a freelance Art Director new to the Philadelphia area in 1999, I leveraged my managing, networking and creative expertise to partner successfully with some of the area’s most respected advertising firms.
In 2000, I shifted my networking skills into high gear to spearhead King Design Group as a woman-owned business. I am grateful for all the abundant opportunities I've had to partner with esteemed organizations and businesses— problem solving their marketing communication challenges. The John Templeton Foundation, The National Constitution Center, Washington Memorial Chapel, Main Line Health, The Classic Car Club of America, The Salvation Army and Lexus are among them. The invitation to compete as ‘Agency of Record’ for the National Constitution Center was one of my greatest career moments. Equally as awesome: my decade-long relationship working closely with The John Templeton Foundation.
Teamwork is King. Every single one of my client and vendor relationships is integral to the health of each deliverable so my approach is to always be mindful about keeping communication open, consistent and clear.
Giving back to the community is extremely important to me—especially any cause that benefits children and seniors. I am a past president of the Main Line Kiwanis Club, a teambuilding dragonboat coach, Leadership Main Line alum, past Membership Chair of the Philadelphia Art Directors Club, an active advocate for seniors, Founder of My Life Tapestry—a subsidiary of King Design Group and a jazz vocalist who’s sometimes an Anthem singer.
